BIG FEELINGS,
LITTLE PEOPLE
Putting little peoples' feelings first!
WHAT IS IT?
Big Feelings, Little People is a psychological evidence-based programme for little people to learn all about emotions and emotional regulation skills. We want what is best for all little people and we believe that giving children the opportunity to develop emotional intelligence from, well, as early as we can, is so important.
Whether you are a parent, grandparent or educator you can make a difference. Big Feelings, Little People takes the guess work out of what to do and provides tools, written by a Chartered Psychologist, that can really help the little people in your life develop the skills to help them thrive.

MY STORY
I'm Dr Alexandra Barnett. A Chartered Counselling Psychologist registered with the Health Care Professions Council and British Psychological Society. Since completing my Doctorate in 2011, I have worked with a variety of people, of all ages, experiencing mental health problems. I've conducted individual and group therapy with people experiencing anxiety, depression, self esteem issues and stress.
I started Big Feelings, Little People after becoming a mother to two wonderful little boys and spending hours researching how to best teach them to recognise emotions, recognise their own emotions and different ways to manage them. I decided to share what I have learnt and discovered with others in a hope that this will inspire more people to work on emotions with their children.
